Sometimes all we need is an empathetic ear to hear what is going on. Sometimes as a listener, you needn’t say much at all. The simple space of silence to allow some one to dig deeper and deeper into how they are feeling can help unearth important personal information.
Well as summer comes to a close and the nights grow longer, I find the push to exercise even harder. I have never been a super keen exercise person, at least not since I was much younger, and however good it feels when I do exercise the fight to get there never gets easier.
Here is an image of a vision I had while meditating one morning. It was of an egg that was only showing one side of it’s self due to a rotten piece of wood that covered the rest up. The rotten wood crumbled away as the egg began to spin and spin! Eventually the egg span and shined showing all it’s marvelous sides of it’s self. Sparkle and shine for you are divine.
Ok, it is another Ted Talk. My last one in fact, other comics to make next. But here is a fantastic talk by a man called Carl Safina. All the credit goes to him and his team for the information shared here. His talk was very moving and so I wanted to try and share in this different format.

Thanks for watching!
A fantastic and inspirational real story that I found and wanted to make a comic of. The words are not quoted but are a simple translation from the talk it’s self. Well done to Jeffery Brown and other people involved. Here below is the comic and the talk it’s self.
The Boston Miracle Talk
I have just finished a course of counselling, that was offered by an amazing Counselling Charity in East London, and I cannot express my gratitude enough for it. To talk to a trained individual about how you feel and what is going on in life can be truly life saving. Well done to Dixon Chibanda and all the women who worked to help so many.

Dixon Chibanda Ted Talk
Here is my new comic about my own personal battle sometimes of overcoming low self esteem or confidence. Some times I will think I am a pile of poo and see no resolve. But actually if I can break the mental patterns and act upon my higher instincts, I find relief! Such as… Going to see friends! I don’t suffer from deep depression and this is certainly not about that. This is purely my own experience. Hope you enjoy as it isn’t all doom and gloom! 😉
